Hedwig and the Angry Inch”
at Corn Stock
The musical drama “Hedwig and the
Angry Inch” will begin a five-show
run Friday Feb. 8 at Corn Stock
Theatre’s Winter Playhouse in Upper
Bradley Park. Directed by Rachel
Wooden the show will be presented
at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 8, 9, 15 and 16
and at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 10. With a rock
music score, it is billed as “an adult,
thought-provoking musical about the
quest for individuality.”

Peoria Symphony
presenting “Romance”
The Peoria Symphony Orchestra will
present “Romance” at 8 p.m. Feb. 9
in the Peoria Civic Center Theatre.
The concert will feature former Miss
Illinois Jade Simmons at the piano
and include classics such as Ravel’s
Bolero” and Gershwin selections.

Official Spring Home Show
The Home Builders Association of
Greater Peoria will have its Official
Spring Home Show, featured in the
National Home & Garden Show
Series presented by DISH Network,
will be Feb. 22-24 at the Peoria Civic
Center. More than 225 companies
occupying 450 booth spaces make
the show the largest of its kind in
Central Illinois.
Show times are 4 to 9 p.m. Friday,
Feb. 22, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday
Feb. 23, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday,
Feb. 24.

Experience Pink Floyd
at Civic Center
The Pink Floyd Experience is
scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Feb. 27 in the
Peoria Civic Center Theater. Tickets

at the Barn
The Barn II Dinner Theatre in
Goodfield will present the comedy
Unnecessary Farce” from Feb. 28
through April 14. The setting of the
new play is two adjoining rooms
in an economy motel where two
inexperienced police officers have
been sent to videotape a meeting
between the local Mayor and the
town’s accountant, with the aim
of uncovering an embezzlement
scheme. The twists and turns from
