One member is also developing
a subsection of the organization
called Theater in the Real, which
will explore darker material than
the rest of Great Work Begins.
Rhodenbaugh said the first show
under this new banner will be in
the fall, possibly in November.
In addition to those ideas the
troupe is thinking about trying to
work with the Peoria Historical
Society to do a show involving
the history of Peoria and writing
original material so it does not
have to pay for rights.
The troupe is also considering
doing a children’s show, perhaps
“
Robin Hood,” next summer as a
nice change from Shakespeare.
“
We’re constantly adapting,”
Rhodenbaugh said. “We don’t re-
ally have a plan for what is going
to happen. We just know we’re
going to keep going with what
we’re doing, developing our-
selves (and) making things better
and better every time.”
