Rock of Ages at Civic Center
Revisit the glory days of hair bands
and arena rock with “Rock of Ages”,
the Tony Award-nominated love story
set in 1987 on the Sunset Strip, at 7:30
p.m. Jan. 17 and 18 in the Peoria Civic
Center Theatre. The show features
the hits of Journey, Pat Benatar,
Poison, REO Speedwagon and more.

Children’s Hospital of Illinois presents
a day of fun for the entire family with
the WMBD-TV Family Fest 2012 in the
Peoria Civic Center Exhibit Hall.
Scheduled for 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
attractions include the
Fun on the
Run inflatables, an indoor rock
climbing wall, a balloon artist and
face Painting. Tickets are $5, with
children 3 and under admitted free.

Lance Zedric, local author and
historian, will present a program on
the heroic Alamo Scouts who served
during WWII at 1 p.m. at Peoria
Public Library North Branch in the
