The lobster boil isn’t the only
event Hult has each year. Anoth-
er is Uncorked!, a wine and craft
beer tasting event with food and
silent and live auctions. This year
it is scheduled for Friday, Oct.
18
at 6 p.m. at Embassy Suites
in East Peoria and Wright said it
will be more of a Las Vegas-type
themed event this year.
Also, each May the center hosts
the Mike Seneca Golf Classic at
WeaverRidge Golf Club.
And in April there is the Spirit
of Living dinner at which leader-
ship and inspiration awards are
presented. One of the top award
is the Dr. Theresa Falcon Cullinan
Spirit of Hope Award, named in
honor of the late Peoria physi-
cian.
So to where do the proceeds
of these events go? Hult Center
boasts a myriad of programs
aimed at helping people lead
healthier lives. It starts, Wright
said, with educating children.
