EASTER SEALS SPAGHETTI DINNER
The third annual Spaghetti Dinner for
Easter Seals is scheduled from 5 to
10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at East Port
Marina in East Peoria.
Proceeds from the event, which will
include an auction, raffles and live
music, will go to help children with
disabilities through Easter Seals
programs.
The cost is $13 for adults and $15 for
all-you-can-eat from the buffet, and
$10 for children ages 3 through 7, or
$13 for all-you-can-eat.
SUN FOUNDATION WINTER
WARMING EVENT
The Sun Foundation’s Winter
Warming event is scheduled for
Saturday, Jan. 25 from 6 to 9 p.m.
at the Zambezi River Lodge in the
Peoria Zoo.
Winter Warming is a wine tasting
event with wonderful food, a raffle, a
special drawing and a silent auction.
Proceeds from the benefit support
the Sun Foundation’s Children’s
Program Fund to provide children
the opportunity to participate in
programs such as Art and Science in
the Woods, Clean Water Celebration,
Environmental and Reptile Field Trips.
The theme this year is Italy so the
food and some of the wines will
highlight the flavors of Italy. Tickets
are $55 if purchased before Jan. 6
and $65 per person after that.

BLACK AND BLUE BALL
The annual Easter Seals Black and
Blue Ball will be Friday, Feb. 7 in the
Peoria Civic Center Ballroom. Doors
will open at 6 p.m.
The event will include music by The
Brat Pack as well as a silent auction
and a live auction, hors d’oeuvres
complimentary beer-wine-soft drinks
and a cash bar, the Bremer Jewelry
Raffle, and pizza served at the end of
the night.
Underwriting sponsorships are
available from $10,000 to $5,000.
Tables can be reserved for $1,000.
Tickets are $100 and proceeds go to
help children with disabilities.

BUY A RAFFLE TICKET
The Have A Heart Valentine Raffle
for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater
Peoria is underway.
The raffle, which supports the club’s
tutoring and mentoring programs will
give cash prizes to 50 people, with
the top prize being $2,500.
There is no need to go anywhere
or dress up for this fundraiser. Just
contact us to purchase tickets for
this annual raffle. Tickets are just
$25 for a chance to win from $25 to
the top prize of $2,500 and may be
purchased from our board members
or by calling the Boys & Girls Club at
(309) 685-6007.
The more you buy the greater your
chances. A limited number of tickets
are printed, so don’t miss out. Buy
your tickets early and watch the mail.
The drawing will be Friday, Feb. 14 at
the Boys & Girls Club.
