kids off the streets” but also teaches
them how to avoid the pitfalls that
would prevent them from becoming
productive citizens.

SUPPORT IN THE SHADOWS FOR
CRITTENTON
Crittenton Center hosts Support in
the Shadows, a unique event held
in honor of Child Abuse Prevention
Month throughout April.
“We like to call Support In The
Shadows a phantom event - that’s
right; it’s an event that doesn’t really
exist! We know you get tired of
spending your Friday and Saturday
nights getting dressed up, attending
galas and bidding on silent auction
items. That’s what’s so great about
this event – you don’t have to do
anything,” said a news release from
Crittenton.
To participate the center said, “Just
purchase a ticket and do something
that makes you happy, like hosting
a family game night, spending a day
at the park or just reading a book in
your favorite chair. While doing so,
you will know that you are helping
those who can not help themselves
– you are helping to prevent child
abuse and neglect.”
All proceeds from Support In The
Shadows benefit Crittenton Centers
and are 100 percent tax deductible.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for
children. Or any size donation will be
accepted.
For more information or to purchased
tickets visit crittentoncenters.org.
