Former Peorian journalist dodges an on-camera kiss like a pro

When you're reporting live on the street, you've got to be ready for anything including PAAs.* Take former WHOI and WEEKer Brian Mullahy, reporting for Salt Lake City's CBS affiliate KUTV, for example. All he thought he was going to be doing was reporting on surplus state property. Little did he know he was about to be targeted...for affection. Co-anchor Mark Koelbel added admiringly, "You are a professional." We couldn't agree more.

A Juilliard-trained writer, Kevin Kizer has fought against numerous world-champion writers during his career, besting the reigning middle weight writing champion in an exhibition bout in Helsinki in 1976. He also played a crucial role on the U.S. gold-medal winning writing team during the 1984 Pan-Am games, where he came off the bench in dramatic fashion to write the winning prepositional phrase just as time expired.
