An interview with Ed Sznaka, director of the Peoria Public Library.
We introduce the show's topic, the Future of the Public Library, and library director Ed Sznaka. First we discuss the changes the Peoria library system is going through with a multi-million dollar upgrade, then discuss whether libraries will be able to keep up with rapid changes in technology to meet the needs of its patrons in the future. Also included is Kevin Kizer's culinary and literary segment where this week he has another "You've Seen The Movie, Now Read the Book" piece, this one about an Academy Award-winning film and how it differs from the novel.
