The Alzheimer's Association-Central Illinois Chapter will have a program titled "Perspectives on Caregiver Stress" from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 8 at the Pekin Public Library, 301 S. Fourth St., Pekin.

Brats for the Cure

There is one day left to get your order in for the Brats For The Cure event this weekend at Schnucks.
For $4 you can get a brat, chips and soda with the proceeds being donated to the 2013 Komen Race for The Cure, which is scheduled May 11. The deadline for orders is 5 p.m. Thursday and they may be picked Friday or Saturday at a time you designate. Group orders can only be picked up between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The 2013 Illinois Action Summit sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association is Wednesday, March 13 in Springfield.
The Alzheimer's Association is inviting area residents to attend the summit and help increase awareness of the disease.
